HOUMA, LA (PRWEB) APRIL 07, 2016
Stephanie Hebert Insurance Agency announces a new fundraising initiative as part of their ongoing campaign of community involvement and enrichment. The latest campaign strives to provide awareness and funds for the Terrebonne Veterans Shelter on behalf of all area veterans. Readers wishing to help our local heroes rebuild their lives may now contribute to the campaign at:https://www.crowdrise.com/support-our-heroes-who-gave-us-freedom/fundraiser/stephaniehebert.
Terrebonne Veterans Shelter provides much needed supportive services to assist local veterans who need assistance to get back on their feet. First they address the most basic human needs: residence in the shelter which provides a safe place to stay, nutritious hot meals, and appropriate clothing. Next, volunteers help residents to solve their individual problems, focusing on important issues such as healthcare, education, legal issues, education and permanent housing. Finally, they work on goal setting for a better future, including providing assistance in finding gainful employment.
“We so admire the work the Terrebonne Veterans Shelter does on behalf of the local heroes to whom we owe our freedom,” said Stephanie Hebert, owner of Stephanie Hebert Insurance Agency. “We believe that helping those in need is an essential basis for building a stronger future for our community. The Terrebonne Veterans Shelter is an integral part of accomplishing that.”
In addition to promoting the campaign to gather donations, the agency will also contribute $10 to the cause for every person recommended to them for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. This makes it easy for everyone in the community to pitch in and help veterans in need. From their offices in Houma, the agency’s caring team is busy mobilizing support for the shelter through social media and an email awareness campaign. They have also dedicated a full page of their monthly magazine to feature all the details of this very worthy cause.
